Denmark Introduces New Online Application Forms for EU Residence Permits

In April 2025, the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) launched four new online application forms for EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens applying for residence permits in Denmark. These forms aim to simplify and expedite the application process, making it more accessible on mobile devices.
New Forms and Their Purposes

These forms replace the previous universal OD1 form, tailoring the application process to specific applicant types.

Digital Signature: Applicants can sign applications using MitID or during an in-person visit to SIRI.
Streamlined Submission: Online applications are processed faster, and users can track their application status through the new portal.
