Tomorrowland Launches in Thailand
A global festival expands into Asia
Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most recognisable electronic music festivals, has confirmed its first full-scale Asian edition. Thailand has been selected as the host country, with Pattaya named as the festival’s home for at least the next five years. The move marks a strategic expansion of the brand beyond Europe and the Americas into one of the fastest-growing live-events markets globally.
Dates, venue and concept
Tomorrowland Thailand will debut from 11 to 13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley, a 96-hectare site in Pattaya. Attendees can expect signature Tomorrowland stages such as CORE and Freedom, alongside newly designed, Thailand-exclusive stages and immersive experiences created specifically for the Asian launch. Organisers have emphasised that the festival will be a distinct regional interpretation rather than a direct replica of the Belgian original.
Strategic partnership with Thailand
The festival is produced by WEAREONE.world in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand. A dedicated local team has been appointed to support electronic music programming, stage design, storytelling and large-scale production. This collaboration reflects Thailand’s broader strategy to position itself as a leading destination for international events and cultural tourism.
Audience profile and ticketing
Pre-registration opened on 8 January 2026, with global ticket sales beginning on 7 March 2026. Organisers expect approximately 50,000 attendees, with international visitors accounting for around 60% of the audience. This strong inbound component positions Tomorrowland Thailand as a significant driver of tourism demand during the peak season.
Thailand’s rise on the global festival map
Thailand has steadily strengthened its role on the international live-music circuit, hosting major global brands such as Electric Daisy Carnival and Creamfields, alongside prominent homegrown festivals like Wonderfruit. The arrival of Tomorrowland further cements the country’s status as a major Asian hub for large-scale music and cultural events.
According to International Investment experts, Tomorrowland’s long-term commitment to Thailand highlights Asia’s growing importance in the global festival economy and reinforces Thailand’s position as a strategic destination for event-driven tourism investment.
