Real Estate Agents Certified in Adjara for the First Time
A certification course for real estate agents was held in Batumi. The training programme covered various aspects of real estate brokerage, including professional ethics. Organised at the initiative of the National Association of Real Estate of Georgia, the course introduced participants to taxation, legal and financial matters, marketing strategies, and the specifics of exclusive client representation.
The training lasted three weeks, after which participants received certificates of completion. According to representatives of the National Association of Real Estate, this was the first stage in the certification of real estate agents and an important step towards licensing brokerage activities. The project is expected to continue.
A member of the National Association of Real Estate committee explained that the course was developed with the future licensing of the industry in mind. The Ministry of Education has also initiated the accreditation process for the training programme.
"Adjara accounts for a significant share of Georgia's real estate market. It was therefore important to organise this course in Batumi as well, ensuring that agents acquire comprehensive knowledge and professional skills essential for brokerage activities. These include the code of ethics, effective communication between buyers and sellers, property valuation, and marketing," said Nata Samnidze.
She added that each certified agent receives a unique identification code that can be verified on the National Association of Real Estate's website. The training programme is accredited by the European Association of Real Estate Professionals.
