Preparations for Magnolia 2026 Enter Active Phase

Research is underway in Adjara to identify the region's best tourism service providers of the year.

Winners will be selected in 10 categories:

• Best Hotel in Adjara

• Best Hostel in Adjara

• Best Rural Accommodation in Adjara

• Most Popular Restaurant in Adjara

• Best Travel Agency in Adjara

• Best Tour Guide of the Year in Adjara

• Most Popular Wine Cellar in Adjara

• Best Tourist Driver of the Year in Adjara

• Most Popular Tourist Destination of the Year in Mountainous Adjara

To determine the winners of Magnolia 2026, the Adjara Tourism Department is conducting research in four areas: satisfaction surveys among international and domestic tourists, online surveys, tourism industry questionnaires, and an analysis of ratings on online platforms.

As part of the tourist satisfaction survey, visitors to Adjara can name their preferred tourism establishments through face-to-face interviews. The online survey allows tourists to evaluate these establishments electronically by scanning special QR codes available at tourism facilities.

Another important evaluation criterion is a survey of the tourism industry. Tour guides, travel agencies, restaurants, and accommodation providers are taking part in the research through specially designed questionnaires.

Ratings on Facebook, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, and Google will also be taken into account when selecting the best tourism service providers.

The Magnolia 2026 awards ceremony is scheduled for the second half of December.
