American Tour Operators Visit Georgia

The Georgian National Tourism Administration hosted nine tour operators from the United States. An introductory tour of the country was organized for the American guests, allowing them to explore local attractions, culture, and traditional cuisine.

The program included visits to Tbilisi and Kakheti. In the wine-producing region, the guests took part in the grape harvest and visited the Alexander Chavchavadze House Museum. They also attended a workshop on making qvevri, traditional Georgian clay vessels used for winemaking.

According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration, the trip was organized to promote Georgia in the US market as a year-round travel destination. The main objectives included raising awareness of the country and attracting more American visitors. Particular attention was given to showcasing Georgian traditions, winemaking, and gastronomy.
